ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ State is incorporating a Fall Break into the academic calendar beginning with the 2018 Fall Semester. Classes will not be held Thursday, Oct. 11, and Friday, Oct. 12, creating a four-day intermission in the semester. Professor Oleg Lavrentovich is world renowned for his research work on liquid crystals. He is a Trustees Research Professor at the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ as well at the editor of the Liquid Crystal Reviews journal. Much of his research investigates their practical application.
