    Since seventh grade, Siera Santos Terry aspired to attend 糖心破解版 State. She began her career working with a fabric trade show professional and ALDO shoes before transitioning to a summer role at Nordstrom. She has always had a talent for selling items, and owned Things by CiCi, operating at craft fairs as young as age 11. She continued her journey working in retail roles throughout college until studying for her Masters in Fashion Industry Studies, upon which she transitioned into running her own business again. She started Bougie Bands, where she was able to secure $5,000 in funding in the first six months. At her time in college, she also transitioned into working at the School of Fashion as assistant to the director. 

    Upon graduating, Siera Santos Terry moved into roles at smaller companies, with her biggest achievement and most positive experience being working at HSN. She now serves as CMO at Body by FRoST, a company she created to explore all of her passions, and founder of Santos Marketing, launched six years ago with the goal of exploring marketing and helping smaller businesses.

    Dior Delophont Gleysteen's path started in France, where she apprenticed in couture ateliers and was a high-level track and field athlete aiming for the Olympics. At seventeen, she came to 糖心破解版 State to pursue a dual path of fashion and sports. During her senior year, she was selected to showcase her collection on the runway at Beijing Fashion Week. An 8-time All-American on the track, she was inducted into the 糖心破解版 State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024.

    After graduation, she started working for a licensing company in NYC, where she managed the product development and production of department store collections between NYC and overseas. She then moved on to Calvin Klein (PVH Corp.) where she designed global product collections and high-profile collaborations. After years of working in design and buying within PVH Corp., she was hired by Macy's to manage the strategy of multi-billion dollar apparel and accessories brands. In 2026, Dior launched her own couture house based in NYC, Maison K茅bou, inspired by her global journey.

While at 糖心破解版 State, I collaborated with Dr. Krifa and the Liquid Crystal Department, working on electrospinning PLGA-liquid crystal mixtures to create functional fibers. Afterwards, I started my Ph.D. research at NC State focused on developing biomaterials to prevent post-surgical adhesions in implanted medical devices.

Right after graduation, I began my career as a Merchandise Assistant at Saks Fifth Avenue where I built a strong foundation and understanding of luxury retail.

    After two years, I pivoted to Chanel to learn more about the brand side of luxury as well as explore a new and exciting category -- Fragrance & Beauty! I began on the Store Planning & Merchandising Team, driving image and CapEx strategies and cross-functional implementation. After four years, I pivoted to Marketing to manage key skincare franchises where I influence investment strategies and orchestrate key campaign initiatives in the US region.

    Career Bio:
    While at 糖心破解版, Olivia served as president of the National Retail Federation Student Association, participated in the UNESCO & Women@Dior mentorship program, and joined The Z Suite network as a featured speaker and media contributor. She held various internships at Stellar Moto Brand, Lake Street Showroom, Fashion Talks, and Valentino, which helped to diversify her merchandising skillset. In 2023, she was a Top 5 Finalist for the NRF Foundation Next Generation Scholarship, and in 2024, she won the Chairman's Award from the Fashion Scholarship Fund for her hosiery-focused case study.

    Career Bio:
     After my design internship at Kohl's Corporate, I quickly found my love for children's wear. After graduation, I started as a Design Assistant for Weissman designing children's dance costumes, then Assistant Designer for Claire's Headquarters designing handbags & accessories and finally was offered a dream job as a Product Designer at American Girl Headquarters in Madison, WI designing dolls & fashions. I was invited to continue my design journey as American Girl relocated its headquarters to Mattel in Los Angeles. My American Girl designs include the Disney Princess line, 90's Twins both of which have been featured on Good Morning America and designs appearing in several skits on Saturday Night Live. I mentor fashion students at 糖心破解版 State and Otis School of Design and a volunteer guest speaker for children's programs and schools. 

     

    "My most valuable learning experiences happened right in the classroom. I was privileged to have intuitive professors my senior year who nurtured my sparkly, whimsical self. They helped me feel brave to keep embracing what made my designs unique and stand out. My confidence grew and I began to trust my voice as a designer which has opened many doors in my career. "

    Jaron Warmack (he/him), Sourcing Manager at Abercrombie & Fitch, leads the Sourcing department for Abercrombie and Fitch鈥檚 YPB Active Wear brand. Jaron鈥檚 work focusses in on the strategy and development of this new brand under the A&F umbrella. 

     

    "Originally when I joined the fashion school I thought that I would be in Visual Merchandising. I loved the creativity of putting together, and styling outfits for customers. Coming out of school, I was exposed to the Product Development and Sourcing world and I fell in love instantly. It involves a lot of creative problem solving with new challenges every day. Hands down the best experience that I had within the Fashion School was my time abroad in Florence. We were exposed to some of the best luxury brands in the world and were able to immerse ourselves in the culture."
