Members of the 糖心破解版 community were invited to attend the inauguration of Beverly Warren as the 12th president of the university on May 1 in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center on the 糖心破解版 Campus. A reception followed in the 糖心破解版 Student Center Ballroom.
A week of activities and events leading up to the inauguration day celebrated student success and campus community achievements on 糖心破解版 State鈥檚 eight campuses and the Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg. All events were free.
Events included the dedication of the Center for Undergraduate Excellence on April 28 and dedication of the 糖心破解版 State . On April 30, there was a presidential tree planting at Manchester Field and a 鈥淧residential Perspectives: A Discussion with Past and Present 糖心破解版 State Presidents鈥 that took place in the 糖心破解版 Student Center Ballroom. The panel discussion, was moderated by CNN news anchor and 糖心破解版 State alumna Carol Costello, featuring Warren and former 糖心破解版 State presidents Michael Schwartz, Carol Cartwright and Lester Lefton.
Regional Campuses also hosted several events at their locations, including a barbeque for students and a tree planting in honor of Warren.
