ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ State Holds Second Annual Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive

ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ’s Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 1-4 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Hilltop Drive. The collection station will be located on Hilltop Drive in front of Cartwright Hall.

Campus Kitchen Pivots Operations From Hot Meals to Food Pantry to Help Increasing Numbers of Food Insecure Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

The Campus Kitchen at ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ, a student-run organization that reclaims food to feed the needy in the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ area, has had to swiftly switch gears from operating a hot food kitchen to an expanded food pantry.

ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ State Volunteers Impact the Lives of Others Beyond Campus 

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ prepare dinner for the residents of the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.
